Join us on a 3 day spiritual journey and retreat which honors the necessity of sacred space for women*. This retreat will be kept to a maximum of 15 people, to rest, nourish, celebrate ourselves, our communities, and ancestors in the beautiful mountains of San Diego and the ancient Anza Borrego Desert. We designed this retreat especially with Women of Color in mind, and really encourage our sisters of color to join us for this special retreat! All of our work will be held in the sacred container of the circle and supported by the ancestors.
A retreat unlike any other, together we will intentionally enter the Sea Ania, our Sacred Flower World. To enter the Flower World, is to enter spiritual time, where we meet the place of the ancestors and nature spirits to receive messages and gifts which will bless and enrich our paths. It is during this time that our senses are heightened, and we pay special attention to synchronicity, dreams and waking visions.
*This is a queer and trans inclusive space. We welcome all female-identified people across the gender spectrum to join us if you feel called.
Through participation in this retreat, you will be supported to cultivate:
More clarity about your purpose and spiritual path
A deeper connection with the ancestors and natural world
Transmutation and healing of your inner landscape
Support and kinship with like-hearted sisters on a similar path
Learn how to work with our dreams through an intentional incubation and discovery of meaning via the language of the sacred
A hands on experience working with the healing energy of the flowers, including the skills to make flower essences and understand how to communicate and work with them on your own going forward
A deepened relationship with the medicine of the desert
*Below you will find a sample itinerary which is subject to change given environmental conditions and the spiritual nature of the journey.

While we will journey to the Anza-Borrego for our desert experience, we will be staying in the cozy little mountain town of Julian, CA. Located 60 miles northeast of San Diego, the roads to Julian contain a beautiful vista of many oaks, cedars, and manzanita and many fruit orchards and roadside homemade stands with local honey, jams, and organic fruit. Once in Julian, the lovely aroma of cinnamon and apples will lead you to many stores selling homemade pies filled with fruit from local orchards.
We will share close accommodations in a local cabin among the many oak and pine trees. There will be many twin, queen, and double beds, including many thick twin folding mattresses and a queen Aerobed. You are free to bring your own bedding. Please note that these are shared accommodations in an effort to keep the cost of the retreat affordable. You are also welcome to bring a tent and camp in the yard area if you would like to sleep outdoors.
All food and meals will be communally provided and prepared. We will form smaller groups of 3 who will be responsible for menu planning, preparing, and collectively purchasing the food for our meals throughout the retreat. Each group will be responsible for 1-2 meals (depending on the size of our group). We will coordinate a plan around this in March after registrations are complete.
Julian and the Anza Borrego are in close proximity. Julian temps are generally mid 70's/ low 40's at night, while the Anza Borrego will creep to mid 80's during the day. It's best to come in layers and prepare for any weather. We will be located in the mountains so there can be thunderstorms and micro-storms in the spring. We don't know what the conditions will bring this year, but we are planning ahead. We will be sure to update you during the week leading up to the gathering.
Deposits are non-refundable and must be made by February 15. Final payments must be complete by March 15. Cancellations must be made before March 25 to receive back your payment (minus deposit). Unfortunately, cancellations after this date cannot be refunded unless somebody happens to fill your place at the last minute.
*Please send Payment via this link @Paypal and please choose to send to family/friends options as to avoid additional fees.
